🧰 Compare Snap-On tool truck prices vs. Harbor Freight’s affordable “buy two” strategy. Learn which tools give you better value, faster warranty service, and less downtime on the job.  Snap-On tools, Harbor Freight, tool truck prices, lifetime warranty, mechanic tools, Icon tools, tool comparison, Snap-On vs Harbor Freight đź›» Tool Truck Tradition: Snap-On as the Example Snap-On, Matco, Mac, and Cornwell trucks have been fixtures in shops for decades. They bring professional-grade tools directly to your workplace—but that convenience comes with a hefty price tag. 🔩 Pros of Tool Truck Brands Top-tier quality: Premium steel, smooth finishes, tight tolerances. Weekly service: The truck comes to your bay—no trip to the store. Prestige: Owning Snap-On tools is a badge of professionalism. Financing available: Buy now, pay weekly (but beware of interest). ⚠️ Cons of Tool Truck Brands High cost: A single ratchet may run $100–150. Warranty wait: If a tool breaks, you wait for the truck’s next visit. Financing pitfalls: Interest and weekly payments can add up fast. 🧰 Harbor Freight: The Two-for-One Strategy Harbor Freight’s Icon, Quinn, and Pittsburgh Pro tools have stepped up in quality—many rivaling mid-tier professional tools at a fraction of the price. The smart mechanic’s move: buy two of every tool. Use one daily, keep the second as backup. When one breaks, grab the spare and replace the broken one immediately under Harbor Freight’s lifetime warranty—NO DOWNTIME, no waiting for a truck. âś… Pros of the Harbor Freight Double-Up Method Massive savings: Even with two sets, costs are under half of Snap-On’s. Instant replacement: Walk in, swap it out, get back to work. Debt-free: Pay cash—no weekly payments or interest. Always ready: You’ll never be without a tool mid-job. ⚙️ Cons of the Harbor Freight Method Quality variation: Lower lines (like Pittsburgh) may not match Icon’s durability. Less polish: Slightly rougher machining and tolerances. No truck service: You lose that rolling convenience and community. đź’µ Price Comparison Chart Tool Type Snap-On Price Harbor Freight (Icon) Buy Two (Backup Plan) Savings 3/8” Drive Ratchet $120 $30 $60 $60 saved 10mm Socket $25 $5 $10 $15 saved Wrench Set (Metric 10–19mm) $250 $60 $120 $130 saved Total for Basic Set $395 $95 $190 $205 saved Even doubling up Harbor Freight’s best line, you still save more than 50%—and always have a working backup. ⚖️ Warranty Turnaround Comparison Factor Snap-On Harbor Freight Claim Process Wait for tool truck In-store replacement Turnaround Time 3–7 days 5–10 minutes (This can be done  during off time) Proof Needed Sometimes Rarely Availability Truck visits weekly 7 days a week đźš— Real-World Verdict If you’re a career mechanic who depends on precision tools daily, Snap-On still shines for its flawless balance, comfort, and craftsmanship—especially for specialty tools and torque instruments. But for most techs, DIYers, and startup shops, Harbor Freight’s double-set method wins on cost, convenience, and uptime. đź’¬ Bottom Line  ” Snap-On tools make you look professional. Harbor Freight tools keep you working professional. Views: 6

NFL CONFIDENCE PICKS WEEK 5 10/02-05-06/2025
For those of you who are new here. This is how confidence ranking goes, let me explain. If we were playing an office pool,(which we ARE NOT). The object is to score the most points. To obtain the score YOU rank the teams by how confident you are a team will win its game. EXAMPLE: Say this week we have 16 games. The team you are most confident will win you would assign the number 16 and follow down to the team you are least confident in and assign that number 1.  You add up the TOTAL CORRECT PICKS.. That would be your score.  We use the Monday night (Last game played) as a TIE BREAKER. The tie is broken by the closest to the total (that is the COMBINED score of the two participating teams) final score, without going over. YOU can adopt the scoring described above.  Or, the optional method. A  negative score for missed games. We will continue to get a positive score for correct predictions. EXAMPLE:  if you scored   1 pt on the first game and you had 15 pts on the second game and lost you would still have  1 pt. 1.  HOWEVER. with the same scenario new scoring system would result with a –14 score If we were playing this is how my sheet would look; My pick will be in bold Capital letters. you can use circling, underlining, or highlighting. I will show my correct points in Bold I will fill in my picks Thursday. Until then feel free to: Just copy and paste for your own Fun Pool Use. Or to see if you can beat me. So far, it appears without the without the officials favoring calls, Mahomes and his Chiefs team aren’t doing so well? Maybe they will have a change of heart, and start giving the favoring calls back so he can look good? BENGALS: QB Joe Burrows Turf Toe Injury could place him on INJRY LIST for up to 3 months. NFL RULE CHANGES FOR 205 1. Dynamic Kickoff NFL clubs amended Rule 6 to modify and make permanent the new form of free kick play implemented in 2024. The play is designed to:  ALIGN players on both teams closer together and restricting movement to reduce space and speed. Promote more returns. 2025 modifications to the existing rule include: Modifying the alignment requirements for receiving team players in the setup zone so they may have a maximum of three players in the setup zone not on the restraining line, but never more than one player in each of the three areas within the setup zone bordered by the sidelines and inbounds lines. Changing the dead ball spot after a touchback to the 35-yard line if the ball lands in the end zone and is downed in the end zone by the receiving team or goes out of bounds behind the receiving team’s goal line. Allowing teams to declare an onside kick at any point during a game as long as they are trailing their opponent, as opposed to only in the fourth quarter. 2. Overtime Procedures NFL teams adopted to align the postseason and regular season overtime rules by granting both teams an opportunity to possess the ball regardless of the outcome of the first possession, subject to a 10-minute overtime period in the regular season. This amendment was proposed by Philadelphia  3. Instant Replay Assist NFL clubs voted to amend Rule 15 to expand Instant Replay’s ability to advise the on-field officials on specific, objective aspects of a play and/or to address game administration issues when clear and obvious video evidence is present. This amendment was proposed by the Competition Committee.           For more in depth explanation of rule changes, and 2025 Approved Bylaws and Resolutions Please follow the link below. https://operations.nfl.com/the-rules/rules-changes/2025-rules-changes/ BYES: NONE  TRIVIA TIME:  How many teams are in the NFL?      Answer Below pick sheet  All Times EDT (As You all know EDT is really AST [Atlantic Standard Time. ] Politicians just don’t know how to tell the truth. NBA Vs WNBA PLAYER PAY
I was wondering about WHY the WNBA players were constantly complaining about the pay they receive compared to the money NBA players make. (I say “make” instead of earn because, although they make their living this way, IT is still a GAME. In my day we played a game because we had fun, and enjoyed playing basketball. I would play any time, any place all day long. To be paid for it was just a bonus.). Early NBA players played pretty much the same way. Many had second jobs, (as do the WNBA players), to supplement their life expenses.  Now they do not play BASKETBALL. They play a different game. Made up of some REAL BASKETBALL RULES, but a great many new rules, to make the game easier, and make more money for doing it. But I digress. Back to the title subject I figured the reason the ladies didn’t make the same money as the guys, was because the WNBA doesn’t generate the income as the NBA.  But after looking into the situation more closely I found a real reason for the complaint. It appears to me now a valid reason. So here is what I found that changed my mind. Here’s how the NBA and WNBA compare in terms of league income and what players earn on average, based on the most recent reliable data: — League Revenue & Player Pay: NBA vs. WNBA Revenue Share for Players In the NBA, players receive approximately 50% of league revenue under the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) . In contrast, WNBA players currently get only about 9.3% of the league’s revenue—far less than their male counterparts . Some sources mention a higher—though conditional—share of around 20%, tied to surpassing revenue targets , but the widely accepted figure remains 9.3%. — Average Player Salaries NBA Average NBA salary is around $11.9 million per year .
