GAMES MOVED DUE TO COVID-19.. HERE ARE THE CHANGES AS ANNOUNCED BY NFL FRIDAY. Saturday’s game between the Cleveland Browns and Las Vegas Raiders was moved to Monday. The Seattle Seahawks-Los Angele7s Rams and Washington Football Team-Philadelphia Eagles games were also moved due to outbreaks on the Rams and Washington. Both of those games will be Tuesday. The NFL announced the changes on Friday afternoon. The Raiders-Browns game will be Monday at 5 p.m. ET on NFL Network. Both Tuesday games will kick off at 7 p.m. ET on FOX and they’ll be on NFL Sunday Ticket. AFFECTED GAMES WILL BE MARKED WITH A RED STAR NEXT TO THE GAME NUMBER . EXAMPLE: (2*). Did you beat me last week. Missed 2 games. (I have had a bit of a slump). NOTE: I went against the numbers picking the SEAHAWKS. For those of you who are new here. This is how confidence ranking goes, let me explain. If we were playing an office pool,(which we ARE NOT). The object is to score the most points. To obtain the score YOU rank the teams by how confident you are a team will win its game. EXAMPLE: Say this week we have 16 games. The team you are most confident will win you would assign the number 16 and follow down to the team you are least confident in and assign that number 1. You add up the TOTAL CORRECT PICKS.. That would be your score. We use the Monday night (Last game played) as a TIE BREAKER. The tie is broken by the closest to the total (that is the COMBINED score of the two participating teams) final score, without going over. YOU can adopt the scoring described above. Or, the optional method. A negative score for missed games. We will continue to get a positive score for correct predictions. EXAMPLE: if you scored 1 pt on the first game and you had 15 pts on the second game and lost you would still have 1 pt. 1. HOWEVER. with the same scenario new scoring system would result with a –14 score If we were playing this is how my sheet would look; My pick will be in bold Capital letters. you can use circling, underlining, or highlighting. I will show my correct points in Bold I will fill in my picks Thursday. Until then feel free to: Just copy and paste for your own Fun Pool Use. Or to see if you can beat me. NFL CONFIDENCE PICKS WEEK 13 NFL 12/02-05-06/2021
I have come to the conclusion IT IS time for the Seahawks, to shed themselves of HC: Pete Carroll. Like several years ago when his call lost the team a second consecutive SUPER BOWL. He just proved again today he is not aware of late late game situations. With his team at 4th down and 2 yards; SCORE 30-23, and approximately 4 minutes and 13 seconds to go. Instead of kicking a field goal and making it a 2 possession game. He went for a pass, (just like he did in the aforementioned SUPER BOWL), which just like then was unsuccessful. If not for, (I don’t recall the name, I was so aggravated about not making it a 2 possession game,) ONE defender was able to tip the pass on 49’ers 4th and goal from the 3, to win the game. I for one have NO CONFIDENCE in Pete Carroll’s late, late game awareness. I really like what I know of the guy. BUT, I just feel it is time for him to go. I hate to see him and Russell Wilson split up. Sometimes you just HAVE to do what is best for the team. Maybe he will take this to heart and learn to make better decisions at game ends. LIONS NO LONGER WINLESS !!! UPSET VIKINGS WITH 4 SECONDS ON THE CLOCK. 29-27 For those of you who are new here. This is how confidence ranking goes, let me explain.
