🧰 Compare Snap-On tool truck prices vs. Harbor Freight’s affordable “buy two” strategy. Learn which tools give you better value, faster warranty service, and less downtime on the job. Snap-On tools, Harbor Freight, tool truck prices, lifetime warranty, mechanic tools, Icon tools, tool comparison, Snap-On vs Harbor Freight 🛻 Tool Truck Tradition: Snap-On as the Example Snap-On, Matco, Mac, and Cornwell trucks have been fixtures in shops for decades. They bring professional-grade tools directly to your workplace—but that convenience comes with a hefty price tag. 🔩 Pros of Tool Truck Brands Top-tier quality: Premium steel, smooth finishes, tight tolerances. Weekly service: The truck comes to your bay—no trip to the store. Prestige: Owning Snap-On tools is a badge of professionalism. Financing available: Buy now, pay weekly (but beware of interest). ⚠️ Cons of Tool Truck Brands High cost: A single ratchet may run $100–150. Warranty wait: If a tool breaks, you wait for the truck’s next visit. Financing pitfalls: Interest and weekly payments can add up fast. 🧰 Harbor Freight: The Two-for-One Strategy Harbor Freight’s Icon, Quinn, and Pittsburgh Pro tools have stepped up in quality—many rivaling mid-tier professional tools at a fraction of the price. The smart mechanic’s move: buy two of every tool. Use one daily, keep the second as backup. When one breaks, grab the spare and replace the broken one immediately under Harbor Freight’s lifetime warranty—NO DOWNTIME, no waiting for a truck. ✅ Pros of the Harbor Freight Double-Up Method Massive savings: Even with two sets, costs are under half of Snap-On’s. Instant replacement: Walk in, swap it out, get back to work. Debt-free: Pay cash—no weekly payments or interest. Always ready: You’ll never be without a tool mid-job. ⚙️ Cons of the Harbor Freight Method Quality variation: Lower lines (like Pittsburgh) may not match Icon’s durability. Less polish: Slightly rougher machining and tolerances. No truck service: You lose that rolling convenience and community. 💵 Price Comparison Chart Tool Type Snap-On Price Harbor Freight (Icon) Buy Two (Backup Plan) Savings 3/8” Drive Ratchet $120 $30 $60 $60 saved 10mm Socket $25 $5 $10 $15 saved Wrench Set (Metric 10–19mm) $250 $60 $120 $130 saved Total for Basic Set $395 $95 $190 $205 saved Even doubling up Harbor Freight’s best line, you still save more than 50%—and always have a working backup. ⚖️ Warranty Turnaround Comparison Factor Snap-On Harbor Freight Claim Process Wait for tool truck In-store replacement Turnaround Time 3–7 days 5–10 minutes (This can be done during off time) Proof Needed Sometimes Rarely Availability Truck visits weekly 7 days a week 🚗 Real-World Verdict If you’re a career mechanic who depends on precision tools daily, Snap-On still shines for its flawless balance, comfort, and craftsmanship—especially for specialty tools and torque instruments. But for most techs, DIYers, and startup shops, Harbor Freight’s double-set method wins on cost, convenience, and uptime. 💬 Bottom Line ” Snap-On tools make you look professional. Harbor Freight tools keep you working professional. Views: 8

NFL CONFIDENCE PICKS WEEK 5 10/02-05-06/2025
For those of you who are new here. This is how confidence ranking goes, let me explain. If we were playing an office pool,(which we ARE NOT). The object is to score the most points. To obtain the score YOU rank the teams by how confident you are a team will win its game. EXAMPLE: Say this week we have 16 games. The team you are most confident will win you would assign the number 16 and follow down to the team you are least confident in and assign that number 1. You add up the TOTAL CORRECT PICKS.. That would be your score. We use the Monday night (Last game played) as a TIE BREAKER. The tie is broken by the closest to the total (that is the COMBINED score of the two participating teams) final score, without going over. YOU can adopt the scoring described above. Or, the optional method. A negative score for missed games. We will continue to get a positive score for correct predictions. EXAMPLE: if you scored 1 pt on the first game and you had 15 pts on the second game and lost you would still have 1 pt. 1. HOWEVER. with the same scenario new scoring system would result with a –14 score If we were playing this is how my sheet would look; My pick will be in bold Capital letters. you can use circling, underlining, or highlighting. I will show my correct points in Bold I will fill in my picks Thursday. Until then feel free to: Just copy and paste for your own Fun Pool Use. Or to see if you can beat me. Dynamic Kickoff NFL clubs amended Rule 6 to modify and make permanent the new form of free kick play implemented in 2024. The play is designed to: ALIGN players on both teams closer together and restricting movement to reduce space and speed. Promote more returns. 2025 modifications to the existing rule include: Modifying the alignment requirements for receiving team players in the setup zone so they may have a maximum of three players in the setup zone not on the restraining line, but never more than one player in each of the three areas within the setup zone bordered by the sidelines and inbounds lines. Changing the dead ball spot after a touchback to the 35-yard line if the ball lands in the end zone and is downed in the end zone by the receiving team or goes out of bounds behind the receiving team’s goal line. Allowing teams to declare an onside kick at any point during a game as long as they are trailing their opponent, as opposed to only in the fourth quarter. 2. Overtime Procedures NFL teams adopted to align the postseason and regular season overtime rules by granting both teams an opportunity to possess the ball regardless of the outcome of the first possession, subject to a 10-minute overtime period in the regular season. This amendment was proposed by Philadelphia 3. Instant Replay Assist NFL clubs voted to amend Rule 15 to expand Instant Replay’s ability to advise the on-field officials on specific, objective aspects of a play and/or to address game administration issues when clear and obvious video evidence is present. The Tigers wasted no time getting into their offensive set, with point guard Darius Thompson setting the tempo. Within the first two minutes, Auburn’s offense came alive with a deep three-pointer from sharpshooter Tyler Green, setting the tone for what would be a fast-paced contest. Florida, however, responded in kind. The Gators ran their offense through their dynamic duo, Jamal Simmons and senior guard Chris Holloway, who combined for Florida’s first ten points. Holloway showcased his veteran leadership, knocking down a step-back three over Auburn’s best defender and finishing a tough layup through contact to give Florida an early 12-7 lead. Midway through the first half, Auburn’s defense stiffened. Jefferson swatted two consecutive Florida shot attempts, sparking fast breaks that led to back-to-back dunks from forward Elijah Carter. The Tigers’ defense ignited a 10-0 run, giving them a 25-18 lead with eight minutes left in the half. Florida coach Mike White called a much-needed timeout to regroup. Out of the break, the Gators tightened their own defense, forcing Auburn into contested shots. Jamal Simmons drained a deep three from the wing, followed by a transition dunk from Holloway, cutting Auburn’s lead to 30-28. The final minutes of the first half turned into a three-point shootout. Auburn’s Tyler Green and Florida’s freshman sensation, Bryce Collins, traded long-range bombs. The last possession before halftime saw Auburn’s Thompson drive into the lane, absorb contact, and finish a tough and-one layup to give the Tigers a 42-39 lead going into the break. Halftime Score: Auburn 42, Florida 39 Second Half: A Game of Runs The second half opened with Florida coming out aggressively. Simmons continued his stellar play, hitting a pull-up jumper and following it with an emphatic put-back dunk that sent the Gators’ bench into a frenzy. Florida quickly grabbed a 47-45 lead just three minutes into the half. Auburn responded through Malik Jefferson’s interior dominance. The Tigers fed their big man in the paint, and he delivered, scoring three consecutive baskets over Florida’s undersized frontcourt. His dominant post play shifted the momentum, giving Auburn a 55-50 edge. With 10 minutes remaining, the game saw its most electrifying sequence. Holloway stripped Thompson at midcourt and threw down a ferocious dunk to bring Florida within one point. Auburn answered immediately with a deep three-pointer from Green, only for Florida’s Bryce Collins to hit one of his own on the next possession. With the score knotted at 62-62, the energy inside the stadium was electric. Final Five Minutes: Championship Pressure With the game tied at 70-70 and just under five minutes to play, every possession became crucial. Auburn’s Jefferson, despite facing constant double teams, powered his way to the rim for a tough finish. Florida countered with a smooth jumper from Holloway. The game’s defining moment came with two minutes left. Auburn, leading 76-75, forced a Florida turnover, leading to an explosive fast-break dunk from Carter. On the following possession, Florida’s Simmons drilled a contested three, tying the game at 78 with just over a minute to play. Auburn had the ball with 30 seconds left and worked it inside to Jefferson, who was fouled on a dunk attempt. He calmly sank both free throws, putting Auburn up 80-78. Florida had one last chance. With five seconds left, Holloway got a clean look from three—but his shot rimmed out, and Jefferson secured the rebound as time expired. Final Score: Auburn 80, Florida 78 Conclusion: Auburn’s victory secured their selves a Championship Berthr. Malik Jefferson’s dominant 24-point, 12-rebound performance earned him the Most Outstanding Player of tte game award. 2025 NCAA MARCH MADNESS Pick Sheet
. Attention: We are currently in the process of moving to a NEW URL!!!!. We are now on and will be found at http://fromthemiddle.blog . For a limited time if you use the old http://fromthemiddleblog.com . you will be redirected to the current url you are seeing now. WARNING: What you see below is an editorial comment from an OLD PLAYER and fan. I was pretty disappointed in a lot of the officiating in Wednesday round 1. I know they haven’t made a lot of calls that we of the 1950-1960 era would have been called for. 1. We would have been called for “PALMING THE BALL” , that occurs when the dribbler turns the ball up toward the ceiling and then down to dribble. (this allows the ball handler to get an extra step between dribbles, and throws off the timing of the defender. 2. I saw a player reach out and dribble two times to bring the ball back to him. (Obviously he had control of the ball or he couldn’t get the ball to him. He then picked up the ball, held it and then began to dribble> DOUBLE DRIBBLE! 3. Then we have the “DUNK’ . A shot that was definitely a goal tend, as the DUNKERS hand is inside the invisible extension above the rim. NOW as a defender I am barred from reaching into this area or I will be called for goal tending. A shot so easy for these kids who can easily reach the rim. If they allow this i would value the shot at 1/2 point. (When we played the average height for a man was 5 foot 8 inches, thus putting the rim more than 4 feet over their head. (There were exceptions of course, you occasionally would find a player over 6 feet tall). TIME TO RAISE THE RIM guys. When we played BASKETBALL was a non contact sport. If you touched an opposing player it was a foul. NOT TO MENTION; we were amateur athletes . NOW with the players getting Thousands of dollars in scholorships, they are now paid by schools and outside sources to play at certain schools. (MINI NBA PRO). There are so many things players get by with now. It isn’t basketball anymore. I know things change due to what the younger people want. But I have always held Basketball in the highest esteem. I hate seeing the new game. BUT still I watch. O.L. SEEDING: Attempts to give a more favored team an easier path to the CHAMPIONSHIP. Seeding should lead to the best 2 teams playing in the final game. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES WIN SUPER BOWL LIX
In the highly anticipated Super Bowl LIX, held on February 9, 2025, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, the Philadelphia Eagles delivered a commanding performance, defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22. This victory not only secured the Eagles’ second Super Bowl title but also halted the Chiefs’ pursuit of an unprecedented third consecutive championship. Throughout the 2024 NFL season, the Kansas City Chiefs faced significant scrutiny and allegations of receiving favorable treatment from officials. Fans and analysts pointed to several controversial calls in key games, suggesting a bias that benefited the Chiefs. These accusations reached a peak during the AFC Championship Game against the Buffalo Bills, where multiple officiating decisions were hotly debated. In the lead-up to Super Bowl LIX, the narrative of officiating bias in favor of the Chiefs was a prominent topic of discussion. However, the championship game unfolded in a manner that showcased the Chiefs’ performance independent of any officiating controversies. The Eagles established their dominance early, building a commanding 24-0 lead by halftime. Quarterback Jalen Hurts delivered an MVP-worthy performance, throwing for 221 yards and two touchdowns, while also leading the team in rushing with 72 yards. The Eagles‘ defense was relentless, sacking Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes six times and forcing two critical interceptions. Despite a late surge by the Chiefs, the early deficit proved insurmountable. Mahomes acknowledged his role in the loss, citing his turnovers as pivotal moments that shifted the game’s momentum. This game showcased the Chiefs‘ performance without the shadow of officiating controversies. The Eagles‘ comprehensive strategy and execution underscored their superiority on this occasion, providing a clear outcome free from the debates that had surrounded the Chiefs in previous matchups. In conclusion, Super Bowl LIX served as a definitive answer to the season-long debates surrounding officiating and the Kansas City Chiefs. The Philadelphia Eagles‘ decisive victory highlighted the importance of performance on the field, independent of external factors, and reinforced the integrity of the game. Views: 28
