BILLS: Will be #4 seed. BEARS: In playoffs. BROWNS: Earn playoff spot. RAMS:  QB, John Wolford, in his 1st ever NFL game, leads Rams to playoff. PACKERS:  Clinch NFC number 1 seed. QB, Tom Brady breaks Brett Favre’s record for MOST REGULAR SEASON STARTS,  with today 299 th start. AFC: (12/30/20) With 7 playoff berths,  has one too many teams with a winning record.  So 1 team, (NFC East) with a losing record will get into the playoffs, while a team now with 10, wins will sit out.  Vying now are the BROWNS, TITANS, RAVENS, DOLPHINS, and COLTS.   These teams have identical records of 10-5.  All are fighting for 3 wild card spots, and the AFC South Championship.    Indianapolis COLTS are the only team that needs help to make the playoffs.   First they need to beat the JAGUARS, this week.  Secondly, they need one of the other teams to lose. However; the case is different in the NFC East.  The winner there is assured of having a losing record, while the 7th seed could be in with an 8-8 record if the CARDINALS, and BEARS lose, the BEARS will get the third wild card spot.      49’ERS: (12/30/20):   Added,   LS,  Colin Holb, to active roster.   TE, Charlie Woerner, off Covid-19/reserve.  (01/01/21),   Signed   K, Tristan Vizcalino, from VIKINGS, practice squad, to fill in for  K, Tristan Vizcalino,  on COVID-19/reserve.     OUT,   WR , Brandon Aiyuk, (ankle),   DT,  Kevin Givens, (not injury related),   LB, Dre Greenlaw, (calf),   DT,  Javon Kinlaw, (knee),   WR,  Deebo Samuel, (hamstring),   CB, Richard Sherman, (calf),   CB,  K’Waun Williams, (shin).      QUESTIONABLE,   S,  Tarvarius Moore, (ankle),   CB, Emmanuel Moseley, (hamstring),   LB,  Mark Nzeocha, (illness).  . This is  how confidence ranking goes, let me explain. If we were playing an office pool,(which we ARE NOT).  The object is to score the most points. To obtain the score YOU rank the teams by how confident you are a team will win its game.  EXAMPLE:  Say this week we have 16 games.  The team you are most confident will win you would assign the number 16 and follow down to the team you are least confident in and assign that number 1.   You add up the TOTAL CORRECT PICKS.. That would be your score.  We use the Monday night (Last game played) as a TIE BREAKER.  The tie is broken by the closest to the total (that is the COMBINED score of the two participating teams) final score, without going over. YOU can adopt the scoring  described above.  Or, the optional method.  A  negative score for missed games.  We will continue to get a positive score for correct predictions.  EXAMPLE:   if you scored     1 pt on the first game and you had 15 pts on the second game and lost you would still have  1 pt. 1.  HOWEVER. with the same scenario new scoring system would result with a –14 score If we were playing this is how my sheet would look;  My pick will be in bold Capital letters.  you can use circling, underlining, or highlighting.  I will show my correct points in Bold I will fill in my picks Thursday.  Until then feel free to: Just copy and paste for your own Fun Pool Use.  Or to see if you can beat me. IF YOU SEE I MADE A MIS-COPY OF THE GAMES AND TIMES FEEL  FREE TO EMAIL ME AND TELL ME I GOOFED. GOOD LUCK TO ALL.
