Colin Kaepernik Got a chance to show he still has what it takes to play NFL Caliber. But he blew it by trying to be self promoting his “CAUSE”. I am all for him to get a second chance (mainly as a backup QB). A chance to show he is of more VALUE as a PLAYER than the LIABILITY, he has proven to be. The owners, and NFL must take in the liability into consideration. Perhaps he could come in and lead a team to the SUPER BOWL (unlikely). But if the FANS don’t support him Any team taking him in as a ‘STARTER” This would result in a loss (maybe a HEAVY loss in revenue). I Can’t blame teams for not wanting to take a chance. He hasn’t proved to me he knows how to be a PATRIOTIC TEAM MATE. I wouldn’t want to be on his team. But IF he could prove he has RESPECT for his COUNTRY and ORGANIZATION. Give him a second CHANCE. NFL Confidence Picks, Week 6 10/15-18-19/2015
An EXCITING week. 3 OVERTIME GAMES. 2 GAMES DECIDED BY ONE POINT. And 1 game by a field goal. As for my week kind of mediocre. Some would consider it good, in that I only missed 3 games. AND I missed the final score by only 1 point. Well maybe this week will behi better. HOW did you do? For those of you who do not know how confidence ranking goes, let me explain. If we were playing an office pool,(which we ARE NOT). The object is to score the most points. To obtain the score YOU rank the teams by how confident you are a team will win its game. EXAMPLE: Say this week we have 16 games. The team you are most confident will win you would assign the number 16 and follow down to the team you are least confident in and assign that number 1. We use the Monday night game as a TIE BREAKER. The tie is broke by the closest to the total (that is the COMBINED score of the two participating tams) final score, without going over. If we were playing this is how my sheet would look; My pick will be in bold Capital letters. you can use circling, underlining, or highlighting. I will show my correct points in Bold YOU can adopt the scoring described above. Or, the optional method. A negative score for missed games. We will continue to get a positive score for correct predictions. EXAMPLE: if you scored 1 pt on the first game and you had 15 pt on the second game and lost you would still have a Positive 1. NFL Confidence Picks, Week 2 9/17-20-21/2015
I was pleased with my picks, this week. The first week is usually the hardest. It is the first time we actually see the teams play. Several star players were injured; some will miss multiple games, some were merely out for the remainder of the game. We saw the great Marshawn Lynch. stopped in a crucial play. The Giants coach lose track of opponents downs, and tell his team not to score. An apparent misunderstanding between the kicker, and coach in an OT situation. But all in all a pretty interesting week. With the headset controversy at the Patriots, game…..Well let me say it is getting hard to not to put the team from New England as the N.E. CHEATERS. After all we know, that must be in their NFL contract, a special clause. New England can do whatever they want. No harm will come to them.
